The New 2020 Toyota RAV4

The Toyota RAV4 was completely redesigned last year and is back for 2020 with the same versions and features we had on the 2019 model. Toyota has engineered an excellent product with the new-generation Toyota RAV4 and as such didn’t really need to make a change to its popular compact SUV. Offered with the most powerful engine in its class, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 remains one of the most spacious models in its segment as well.

Several Versions for the 2020 Toyota RAV4

It is also available in several versions. Let's take a look at the models available in the RAV4 lineup.

The 2020 Toyota RAV4 LE is offered in a choice of FWD (starting MSRP: $28,090), and AWD (starting MSRP: $30,190) drivetrain configurations. This model includes 17” steel wheels, heated front seats, and power windows with auto up/down function on all windows.

The 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE is offered in a choice of FWD (starting MSRP: $31,690, and AWD (starting MSRP: $33,790) drivetrain configurations. This model features everything in the LE trim level, plus a number of enhancements, including 17” alloy wheels, a power moonroof, four-way power adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone air conditioning, a heated leather steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, fog lamps, and a power back door.

The 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium (starting MSRP: $36,590) further enhances the previous AWD version. This model features 19” alloy wheels, a cargo side net, Softex seating material, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and Connected Services by Toyota Audio Plus with Remote, which includes Remote Connect, Safety Connect and Service Connect.

The 2020 Toyota RAV4 TRAIL (starting MSRP: $38,890) is an AWD model designed for life off the beaten track. Features include more rugged body styling – from bridge-type roof rails to 19” TRAIL alloy wheels – plus Dynamic Torque Vectoring with Rear Driveline Disconnect, a 1,590 kg (3,500 lb) towing capacity, an 8” Touchscreen Display Audio and 7” multi-information display, heated and ventilated seats, a wireless charging system for compatible personal electronics, and Connected Services by Toyota Audio Plus with Remote, which includes Remote Connect, Safety Connect and Service Connect.

This model may be further enhanced as the 2020 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road (starting MSRP: $41,790). This package – brand new for the 2020 model year – features 18” TRD alloy wheels clad in Falken All-Terrain Tires, an off-road tuned suspension, LED fog lamps, special TRD badging, and an 11-speaker JBL Audio System enhanced with Connected Services by Toyota Premium Audio with Remote which includes embedded navigation and Destination Assist.

The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Limited (starting MSRP: $41,250) is an AWD model that offers the epitome of comfort and premium amenities. Features include an 11-speaker JBL Audio System with Clari-Fi that is enhanced with Connected Services by Toyota Premium Audio which includes embedded navigation and Destination Assist, LED fog lights, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a driver’s seat memory system, a digital display rear view mirror, and a kick sensor power back door. Additional safety technologies include Toyota’s Bird’s Eye View Monitor and Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Rear Cross Traffic Braking.
